Hybrid Components
There are two types of hybrid construction:
- uses a frame like the ones shown in Vintage Timberframe page as portion of the house like a great room
- uses few beams to give standard construction a rustic feel. Examples include
- beamed ceilings
- beamed walls
- timberframe trusses
- log trusses
- archway diveder walls
- timberframed entries
- timber mantals
This page will describe Rustic Innovations products for the second style. Hybrid construction is
less expensive than complete timberframe and builders are more cofortable with it.
Using our old wood with history will make your home wonderful and unique.
